“Herman Dillon dedicated his life to the Puyallup Tribe and tribes all across our state, and generations of Washingtonians will benefit from his life’s work. As a veteran and a champion for education, treaty rights, and our proud fishing heritage, Herman leaves a legacy in our state that cannot be replaced. We will miss his spirit, his passion, and his advocacy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, members of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, and all inspired by his work.”
