(Washington, D.C.) – Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray joined Gov. Christine Gregoire and the Washington state Congressional delegation in sending a report to the Base Realignment and Closure Commission. The report details the military value of Washington’s military installations.
“Washington State soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines are our national treasure,” the letter says. “We are proud of those who serve, and we are proud of the unique network of capable installations that our state provides in their support.”
