statement on the passing of Geraldine A. Ferraro.
“Geraldine
Ferraro took a shot at one of the highest offices in the land, and her efforts
made a difference for every woman in America. I got to know her over the years
and I saw her strength in overcoming adversity time and again. And her final
battle with her personal health never kept her from working on behalf of women
and the issues she cared about most. She will be missed.”
