Border patrols should be beefed up to keep out illegal aliens, but those already in the United States should be allowed to stay if they pay a fine and take steps to become U.S. citizens, U.S. Sen. Patty Murray said Thursday.
“The Washington economy right now depends on a high factor of immigrant workers, and if we just simply deport everyone unless they can prove they came here legally, we will have a huge impact on our Washington state economy,” said Murray, D-Wash. – (Full Article
