Murray Congratulates Storm on Historic Win

(SEATTLE) – Senator Patty Murray today congratulated the Seattle Storm on their historic win in the WNBA Championships.

“I am excited to congratulate the Seattle Storm on their historic win last night in the WNBA Championships. Not only have the Storm given Seattle a new championship trophy, and given new hope and new heroines to girls across our state, but they have given the WNBA its first female championship coach. I am proud of Coach Ann Donovan and the Seattle Storm’s achievement, and I join basketball fans statewide in congratulating them on their accomplishment.”
