Sen. Patty Murray says U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Michael Leavitt broke a promise when he again delayed a final decision on whether to allow over-the-counter sales of a morning-after contraceptive known as Plan B. “This is a blatant slap in the face,” Murray (D-Seattle) said in an interview last week. “I’ve never had a handshake deal and a signed letter in which they lied.” – (Full Article)
