El senador Murray cree que todos en este país deberían poder obtener la atención médica que necesitan sin preocuparse por el costo. Para ello, se centra en soluciones audaces para: 

• Asegúrese de que todos puedan recibir la atención que necesitan cerca de su hogar, ya sea que eso signifique ver a su proveedor de atención médica, surtir su receta o cualquier otra cosa;  

• Reducir drásticamente las primas, los deducibles y otros costos de bolsillo y exigir que las compañías de seguros compitan con una opción pública de manera que bajen los precios; 
• Eliminar el racismo sistémico en nuestro sistema de atención médica y abordar las disparidades en el acceso, la cobertura y la atención; 
• Asegúrese de que un cambio de trabajo o una mudanza por el país no signifique perder una atención médica asequible; 
• Asegurar que los pacientes tengan planes de alta calidad que cubran la atención que necesitan; 
• Haga que nuestro sistema sea responsable de atender a los pacientes, no de las ganancias. 

Health care is so much more than just whether families have quality, affordable health insurance. That’s why Senator Murray also champions strong investments in community health centers, the health care workforce, addressing the opioid crisis, biomedical research, health equity, and our public health infrastructure. Making and maintaining these investments is critical to ensuring our nation is able to fight diseases, respond to public health emergencies, and keep all of our families and communities healthy and safe.

Senator Murray is a fierce champion of reproductive rights and is committed to restoring Roe v. Wade so that women in every state have the right to make their own health care decisions. She believes everyone should be able to get the reproductive health care they need—including contraception, family planning services, and safe, legal abortion. She has fought back nonstop and with every tool at her disposal against extreme Republican efforts to further roll back reproductive rights and create unnecessary burdens that make it impossible for patients—especially people of color and people with the tightest budgets—to get the care they need.
