(Washington, D.C.) – Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) discusses the country’s ailing economy with a group of prominent economists at a Senate Budget hearing today. Murray, a senior member of the Senate Budget Committee, discussed potential economic stimulus measures and questioned the economists on steps that can be taken to increase consumer confidence.
Senator Murray will be working to pass an economic stimulus proposal that invests in transportation and green technology, creates jobs and helps families by expanding unemployment and housing.
