Today Republican Senators began a filibuster to block a bill that will prevent student loan interest rates from doubling beginning July 1.
Help me fight this filibuster.
Tell me how the doubling of your Stafford loan interest rate — from 3.4% to 6.8% or about $1,000 a year–would impact you.
And whether it’s in your message – or on Twitter – I am going to bring those stories to the floor of the U.S. Senate.
I will tell your stories over and over again until Republicans see that the students of Washington state won’t take no for an answer.
