Flood and Storm Assistance

If you were affected by the wind storm and flooding, please use the following resources to seek assistance:

New - State Establishes Disaster Unmet Needs Hotline and Email Address

Hotline: (253) 507-6420 | E-mail: unmetneeds@emd.wa.gov

“The new hotline and email address will provide information to state and voluntary organizations to enable them to help those individuals whose disaster related needs are greater than the assistance provided in federal disaster aid programs,” said Kurt Hardin, state coordinator officer for the December 2007 flood disaster.

Under the program, the State Emergency Management Division’s (EMD) Unmet Needs Assistance program will use the caller information to connect flood disaster survivors to aid agencies and county Long Term Recovery Organizations (LTROs), which are being formed by local non-profit and faith-based agencies under the auspices of the Washington Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (WAVOAD) and the Washington Interfaith Disaster Relief Organization (WIDRO).
