Today, Senator Murray joined other Democratic leaders at the FDR memorial to honor the founder of Social Security and re-affirm her commitment to fight for the values he championed at a time when President Bush wants to dismantle the insurance program that generations of Americans have come to rely on. Earlier in the day, Murray spoke on the Senate floor to declare her strong opposition to President Bush's risky privatization scheme.
